What are same day dental implants?
Same day dental implants in Las Vegas are an option whether you want to replace one tooth, multiple teeth, or all of your teeth. Because our office is an all-in-one dental implant center, we are able to provide same day dental implants because our prosthodontist, dentist, oral surgeon, lab technicians, CT/X-ray machines and techs are all on site.
How long will the procedure for one implant take during a visit?
A single tooth implant can usually be placed in the jaw in about 30 minutes, multiple tooth implants can take an hour or more, and a full jaw of implants can take 2-3 hours. After the implant is placed in your jaw, you will be fitted with a temporary tooth specifically created for you by our in-house lab. Why is the temporary tooth necessary? Your jaw needs time to heal before the abutment and the crown are connected to the dental implant.
